Our human consciousness might have been a fruit of blind evolution, but before it’s too late, we’d better let it leads toward a more awaken evolution.
For finding and refining what works better for mankind, we might still have to use the ancestral blind method of ‘trial and error’, but before too many errors take over, we’d better add to this search method the fruit of our new born conscious intelligence -so called discerning awareness- to load a set of ‘trials’ with a much narrower ranges of ‘errors’ and thus a much wider and faster chance of success.
In our current search for a harmonious globalization, don’t you think that narrowing the road toward a better management of human life seems to be an urgency?
As far as we know, life seems to have evolved from a state of no consciousness as cells and bacteria, to a basic reactive reptilian brain, then to a reasoning neo-cortex that felt a bit too square, and finally into our global-seeing front lobe that could make the whole difference. So, from cells to reptilian, to mammals to sapiens, our brain as evolved into a more intelligent design capable of managing manifested life consciously. This is really great but we are still new to this evolution marvel, and as ‘users’ we are confronted with quite a number of bugs… Still we can see some light at the end of the tunnel and we better use it…
If we want to survive the next possible extinction scenario that our intelligent frontal globe can foresee, optimizing or recuperating the full potential of our current evolutionary human design seems to be a must.
For that, as a species and as mammals, we would need not only to optimize each individual – because unfortunately, in my view one messiah will not be enough- but to group a fair amount of optimized individuals to collaborate together.
The sum of this so called ‘collective intelligence’ would definitely sharpen our individual qualities as well as dissipates our individual flaws or bias. It really seems needed and there is a lot of work to do to make it happen:
From an individual inner work of finding an opened lucid clarity of mind, clarity of intention and clarity of action; to a collective, wise and courageous discerning care applied to the common good of our society and species; there is a very exciting pathway and challenge. This endeavor is the purpose of ’The Up-Stream Project’. Never too late nor too crazy they say…, and you are all warmly welcome!
