One of the main goal of Up-Stream is to promote ‘common good’ through better connectivity or ‘inter-connectivity’.
The concept of common good is that shared wealth and shared intelligence always works better for each and all of us. On the contrary, the focus on personal profit imbalances our common ground for happiness. It also creates tensions that end up destroying the extra personal gain as well as the capacity to enjoy it.
The concept of ‘inter-connectivity’ is that diversity creates a richer culture through interconnection. On the contrary, the segregation or separation of diversity create degeneration and scarcity.
In our human relations, we have a tendency to promote our personal profit away from the common good. We also segregate people into diverse casts or functions, instead of integrating their complementary values. This is definitely a big part of the mismanagement process that we wish to address. For that reason, we engage and dedicate ourselves to:
Avoid ‘vertical’ hierarchy between masters & disciples, teacher & students, elder & younger, men and woman etc…
Communicate with the strength of each person and not their weakness.
Secure that the incoming persons learn, grow, emancipate & individuate.
Welcome, integrate & promote those individuals as they develop their upstream mindsets.
